Silver Needles (Spring Premium)

2011 Silver Needles represent a strong comeback from last season’s weather hampered harvest. The best of this season offers a freshness like no other.  Its younger downy buds with tinges of lime produces a bright, leafy liquor that is most inspiring. Taste the freshness of spring dew in every cup.

White Peony (Jade, Organic)

Fresh green leaves with beautiful young downy unfurled buds

Sweetness abounds on every sip of this magnificent  Organic Jade White Peony. Delightfully refreshing and has a particularly pechant for taking on multiple infusions.

White Peony (Premium)

Our Premium White Peony has an abundance of downy buds with bright, fresh, young green leaves. Fruity high-notes are abound in this version.

Nilgiri Kairbetta

Unique to this region of the world, the Nilgiri Kairbetta has balance of floral and woody overtones

A charming winter-picked tea from the Kairbetta estate in southern India’s Nilgiri Mountains. Twisted chestnut brown leaves yield a bright golden cup with a floral aroma reminiscent of frangipani. Lovers of Darjeeling will find this tea a little softer on the palate but with a similar intensity.

Time: an afternoon tea classic

Brewing: pour water at 90 degrees (just before boil) over one teaspoon of leaf per cup. Infuse 2-3 min.

Imperial Dragon Well

Good uniformity and lightness of leaf colour denotes a high grade Dragon Well.

An ode to the imperial status awarded to this West Lake tea during the Qing Dynasty, this is our finest Dragon Well tea. The uniformity in leaf shape and size and the light, bright colour are telling signs of this tea’s supreme quality.

Mountain Peak Cloud & Mist

High up in Mount Lu, the finest Cloud & Mist green tea is grown. The altitude and the cool misty air develop a tea that, despite its dark jade colour, is refined and delicate. When prepared at the right temperature, the deep curls of this leaf impart a sweet, nutty aroma with a slight velvety finish on the palate.

White Pearl Gunpowder

A refined take on an otherwise often robust tea, our white pearl version of the gunpowder green has a sweeter, softer and leafier finish. The white highlights is reflective of the high grade white-tipped green leaves selected to produce this tea.

Time: Morning through to evening

Brewing: Pour water at 80-90 degrees (hot with a dash of cold) over one teaspoon of leaf per cup, infuse for 1-2 min. Infuse once only.

Golden Yunnan

With its long golden wisps, this tea tastes as intriguing as its appearance. The brew offers a delicate sweetness with slight floral and citrus overtones. Curiosity ensues as the palate will also detect a complementing malty backdrop, thereby creating a balance most fine and lasting. Withstands multiple infusions.

Time: a smooth daytime tea, to be savoured

Brewing: pour water just off the boil over 1 heaped teaspoon of leaf per cup. Infuse for 2-3 min.
