How Tea Craft came about was through an unfulfilled yearning. Good friends and avid tea drinkers, Tjok and Arthur, found it difficult to get artisanal quality teas here. Many purveyors seemed to be selling the same generic teas (but under different names), from the same overseas wholesalers. And amongst the few regional specialists available, whilst their quality can be good, they did not conveniently provide teas of the same caliber from other areas of the world.
So we put our heads together and came up with a method to bring high quality teas directly from all major tea regions of the world and to put our heart and soul into producing our own blends too.
Today, we continue to rely on a few fundamental beliefs to sustain our focus.
